1. Find your energy supply charges.
Before you can compare offers, you must find your supply charges on your energy bill. Remember, you are choosing a company that supplies the generation of your energy.
2. Compare offers.
Search supplier offers and contact the suppliers that you are interested in. See our FAQs for a list of suggested questions you should ask suppliers below.
3. Read and understand the supply contract.
Carefully read and understand all of the terms and conditions of your supply contract. The supplier should be able to answer any questions you have.
4. Receive confirmation.
Your utility company will send you a letter confirming the supplier you have chosen. If the information is incorrect, contact the utility and request to stop the switch.
